Billy Deals With His Lemons - Director's Cut!
---Over 3 seconds more footage!!!!!!---

For this, I took away one title slide (about Copenhagen Summit being this December) because it ruined the flow of this version of the ad. For this, I concentrated more on putting out what we intended you to see. Nevertheless, I think it still works as an ad to lead you to the petition.

During editing of the first one, it was so hard to cut away a lot of the footage because the more we cut, the less funny it seemed (the original is around 2-3 minutes or something). You'll notice this version is still significantly less than that and that's because the original had a lot of unnecessary parts that we had refilmed to compress the time of the video such as adding a 2 second voice-over that effectively allowed the elimation of an entire 6 seconds. This version is has the stuff we had to cut out before, but doesn't waste time like the original did.

I hope you enjoy this version:

The Youtube/Cannes Young Lions Contest is closed.
I just wanted to update you on that and say that my ad did not win. I am dissapointed at that but delighted, at the same time, that it made it as a finalist. According to the e-mail, the shortlist of finalists had only 35 ads within it out of an approximate of total 700 entries toward this contest to begin with. I say that's pretty damn good, being in that 5%!! I e-mailed them to try and see exactly where I ranked within that shortlist so if I get that information, I'll let you know.

Thank you everyone who supported my ad. I really really appreciate it! Seriously, you're the best.
For you others who didn't, nuts to you! haha joking..

So I'll keep you posted on what rank I came in exactly if I obtain that information.
Otherwise, here are the winners of this contest:

And here is my entry again. Enjoy:

I hear one of them copies something called "Greentube". I didn't care to look it up but yeah, just putting that out there. Otherwise, congrats to the winners!

Please VOTE for my ad - rate it and comment and view it more too!
This was made for a contest where we had to make the ad in 48 hours. It urges us to go sign a petition that will convince politicians our world is worth saving. It urges them to sign an agreement that is probably our best change to curb climate change.
.
Follow these steps:
  1. Search "Billy" and click "GO!"
  2. Vote thumbs up!
  3. Post this on your blog or Facebook too to help it spread!

Thank a bunch!!
